Hello it's Bilal again, now I will do about a epic-sports drama film which is called LAGAAN, in English translation it means (TAXATION) and sometimes referred as LAGAAN, ONCE UPON A TIME IN INDIA. Here is an image and trailer of the film.
I will now tell you what this film is about in a short summary. This epic-sports drama film is set in the year 1893 and INDIA is under BRITISH occupation. In a small village, the tyrannical CAPTAIN RUSELL has imposed an unprecedented land tax on its citizens. Outraged, one of the villagers BHUVAN , a rebellious farmer, rallies the villagers to publicly oppose the tax. RUSELL offers a novel way to settle the dispute: he challenges BHUVAN and his men to a game of cricket, a sport completely foreign to India. If BHUVAN and his men can defeat RUSELL's team, the tax will be repealed.
In my opinion I love this film, I love the story, the songs/music, the training scenes and the actors who acted in this film, I suggest you should watch this film to it's very good.
I think I'd like this film. Maybe we could watch it at the end of term?
